Truth be told, I really don't have an issue with Knuckles' new looks, after all he's supposed to be the muscle of the group...but it would be less awkward if he was slightly shorter.

yeah those thin tall legs looks kinda odd... kinda like an ostrich? I wonder if anyone tried cropping his legs and see if its better lol....

The only reason he was designed like that was because of sprite limitations-they had to think of a way to make his limbs stand out when he runs. Now that we moved out of the severely limited area of 2D sprites, some changes are bound to happen. Hell, no one complained about Super Mario wearing red and blue outfit in the artwork when his sprite originally showed him with red and brown one.

As for purists, the shitstorm centered around Sonic is nothing compared to the shitfit they threw when Sally received a redesign in the comics to match the art style of the games, and got more clothes. Their tears were delicious.

I'll agree on Tails definitely, especially since he seems to be getting a moveset all his own, what with the laser attack and all. He also looks ready to battle and sounds like he finally hit puberty, good for him.

Amy is starting to come into her own and seems pretty competent, since she was the only one not to fall flat on her face in the game trailer. She also kinda has a Rouge look to her, which is pretty good.

What surprised me is how Eggman looks like he's been doing some lifting himself.

Yeah same thoughts here, tails looks awesome, Amy less tihi cutie look, tho I for one always liked the bandage look, so I enjoy Sonics, well besides to longer legs, that looks silly.

PS wonder if Guile from Street Fighter gonna make a guest appearance X3

Oooh, I love your shadowing in this! *O* And Knuckles' new look, in terms of strengths, makes sense now. He was powerful, but as scrawny as a cornstalk. By beefing him up, his great strength makes more sense. I just hope he's not a pea-brain like other beefcake pea brains. :/
