This might be an odd question to ask, but those leggings... Are they inspired by a similar design by Masamune Shirow? They remind me a lot of the ones on the cover of Intron Depot (the original).

Yewah, I'll admit, I was looking at that particular cover while I was working on this, although I was sure to make some changes on the design. Dunno what it is but those leggings always struck me as quite beautiful, and I'm a huge fan of Master Shirow's work

Shirow-san's work IS excellent, though I feel in truth he now depends just a bit too much on digital tricks for my comfort. It feels too much like he has forgotten much of the basics and covers it in tons of eye-drawing details.

However, during the time of Intron Depot 1, I must agree: there was no-one better. You could have not chosen any better than he to emulate.
