Compared to the other mobs so far, this is pretty terrifying to a poorly equipped player. Somehow I mixed its cry to send a chill up your spine, partially because you know how beastly it is to fight.

The Delcatty moves slightly faster than a Skeleton, has no knockback, and heavily armored. If that was not a problem, it summons other clay mobs to fight along side it when hit. Hence, it is listed at Disciples of Corruption mod's first mini-boss Pokemon, released in Alpha 0.2.

It is designed to make you think outside the box on how to fight it. Otherwise, if you try to fight it like you would any other mob with anything short of a full set of diamond equipment, it will ravage you.

And it is very much fight able with low grade equipment. In my first survival mode night with this version, I encountered one while patrolling a village. I defeated it with nothing more than two stone swords and an iron chest piece.

Yah, you need about two stone swords on hand to take it and the army it summons down.

One time I decided to try and beat it to death with my fist and learned that if properly trapped, can be a very nice exp grinder while it is alive.

I might add it has a very lovely idle tail animation.
