Damnit, Anthony, you and your titles! People are gonna think I'm gonna be all terrible now, what with my cheesecake and fanservice and R-rated pictures and...
Oh, fine.
Have I mentioned how I love your work? (oh, only about eighteen times by now). Much of the animation in your stuff is incredibly smooth, and after watching this whole thing come together in stream, I can see why! Each individual frame has plenty of effort poured into it, and then the additional trouble you had to go to in order to link it all together and make it flow looked AWESOME in Flash. And hey, you got just about everything I wanted in the thing! She's bigger, she's shiny (I'm super impressed that you managed to fit in shine on a tiny lil' pixelated vappy lady!), and you even lengthened the tail to all sorts of super long. Whoo-hoo, thank you!
Furthermore, your ability to do so much with so little is super impressive. There's, what, maybe a teensy lil' area for the face? Yet you've managed to fit in the subtle movement of the eyes and expression to convey emotion really well.
If I might suggest a few things;
- The animation is a little too fast in places. I feel like the right speed is right at the beginning and at the very end, where the movements are easier to take a look at. For much of the TF itself (basically, past the hand/arm transforming) it rushes by so fast that you tend to miss a lot of the details until you view the animation over and over to catch it all at once. I don't have a magic way to better tell you how to best select speed (not like I know anything about animating), but I feel it'd be a bit stronger there if it was slowed down a bit. I guess random testing to see what feels good?
- Tail's swaying is a little too exaggerated, and could be made a bit more subtle (but I do love how you made the sway appear! It feels and looks smooth without going too fast or slow)
- The rain looks a little bit sparse! It doesn't need to be a SUPER HUGE DOWNPOUR, but maybe a few more droplets here and there might add to the flavor of the piece (there IS a lot of blank space that's not being used up, and that might help a bit) I do love how the rain looks and how you've even got the animation for it spattering against the ground, though!
But yeah, super well done! You should be proud of yourself!

yaaaaay! I like this comment. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to actually get some critique. ouo Glad you enjoyed it though, that's the important thing.
I do recognize that the animation is a little speedy =o= Should try focusing more on the actual changing, as opposed to the buildup to it. Something to work on next time, eh?
TAIL! TAAAAAAIL! Definitly needs some work. I'm not particularly used to working with tails THIS long, but I should have made an additional frame for it here or there, instead of just whipping out what parts I already had to work with. =o= shoddy work on my part.
