Hmm... I like the colors. It's a tint of red that's not too obviously "LOOK! RED! COOL!" but it does have this bloody quality to it. Though, it appears this OC consists of only two colors. Not necessarily a bad thing. (I mean, look at Pinkie Pie.)
Not a big fan of bat Ponies, but for a Pony who looks like this, I do suppose it makes sense. It could definitely be a worse bat Pony OC, at the very least! This one does make an impression on me and her expression is a nice mix of cold and annoyed, but not dangerously so.
Is it me or are the ears a bit on the small side? I know you don't draw them overly big, but these seem thinner than usual.
On the sketch, I was a bit unsure if the hind legs would work, but they actually look really good here! The hock on her right hind leg might be just a bit too sharp, but eh, that's a very minor point.
Interestingly, I am not a bit unsure about her front legs. They seem to extend far into her neck, instead of being attached to her shoulder. And I know too little of horse anatomy to know if the curve in her legs around the shoulder is accurate or not. At the very least, it's not how the joint works on the show. (But that's not saying much. The show has some painful anatomy oftentimes.)
I like the shine in her eyes, though the more I look at it, the more it starts to look strange. Maybe it has to do with how sharp they are compared to the rest of the drawing. The edges of these shines are sharp and the colors are very base, if that makes sense.

Cant really comment on the ears, they look about the size to me, dunno haha. Im glad the legs look alright! Yeah, I would refrain from commenting too much on the sketches, as they will change significantly during the inking. XD

Hmm, yeah I see what mean about her front legs, and perhaps Ill try a softer brush for the eye shine next time around!

As for this drawing... Yeah, perhaps the thing with the ear is just the angle playing tricks on me as it often does.

Not sure if I share that opinion, but my humor is pretty strange to begin with, anyway. To me, strangulation isn't really particularly funny.
...I'm not saying others aren't allowed to find it funny. Psh! Anyone can like whatever they want.

Oh, yes, I understand the avatar, with its cartoony presentation, is nothing but humorous.
But it's like in The Simpsons when Homer strangles Bart... I never once saw the humor in that.
Not because I can't appreciate schadenfreude but because... I don't know... there's nothing slapstick or anything about it.
