Another Tux story. I'm really getting hooked on this little guy. On a personal note, this is almost entirely based on RL events which happened to me. A few details have been changed, but the basic events described here are all true. I'm happy to say Tux and I share many values.

I've slightly weepy eyes as I read this. Of course, being a big bad wolf as I am, I will not admit in any way that this story made me emotional, or that I identified in any way with the characters. Nor will I admit that I would love to read more about Tux.
Right. Enuf sed. What other stuff have you done? <harrrumph. sniff>
Probably got a cold or something. Makes my eyes water.

Fear not, Good Sir Wolf. I do not judge against tears. I've seen them and shed them too many times to not know their value or their importance.
In truth, I wasn't really happy writing this. To bring an episode of thoughtless cruelty to life is no joy to me. But the fact that the actual event ended as happily as the fictional one did is of great comfort.
I can't save all the kittens. But I did save one.
As for Tux, I have plans for him. His stories will be told as the weeks and months progress. He is fast becoming my favorite character.

me too me too... *sniffles and pulls the two Wolf's together with her little form between them... (no sandwitch jokes here)
Absolutely keep this up Wire... Tux is so beautiful... like you, I hate writing about cruelty. I don't know where kids get it from - lots of theories - but there are also many many children just like Tux with whopping big hearts...
Great story...

It must have been a pretty tiny kitten; the one time I witnessed an a-hole torturing a kitten by holding it up to an electric fence, he was severely punished--the kitten puffed up to three times normal size and shrieked, did some incredible gymnastics and contortions and wiggled out of his grasp, climbed on top of his head, and ripped the hell out of him. The next time we saw him his head was partly shaved so the doctor could give him stitches. It was like something out of a cartoon.
Now this story invoked some serious emotion. Some of the things the bully said made me turn away in disgust, and then I just wanted to knock the little bastard up side his head. I hate it when people abuse animals. Very well done story, and I hope we get to see Tux up and running again very soon.
I goofed again! Posted to the story instead of your reply. Durrrrrrr.
Like you, I abhor everything Dennis stands for and want nothing more than for him to learn his lesson the hardest way possible. Unfortunately, I'm never around when that kind of thing happens. Episodes like this one, however, seem all too frequent. I did take some personal comfort in having him in a fist fight with his young croney over the money.
As for Tux, I'm working on a new story as we speak. :)
And thank you for the fav, by the way!
