Here's Space Vixen Blaze, complete with her 50s-styled spacesuit and ray gun, ready to defend the Earth! (Although defend it from what, I really don't know...)
One of the most unusual and ambitious pictures I've ever worked on: and I'm really happy with how she turned out!

I think this is the first time I've ever drawn something specifically with the theme of a convention in mind - and had a whole lot of fun doing it, I must add!
And the two Space Vixens look a lot like old-style animation cels, which gives them a soft 3D effect. Although it's a little difficult to show that on a scan...
Personally, I'd love to put the two pictures into the art show. But at the moment, I can't be certain that circumstances will allow it to happen. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess!

I honestly think these are the best pictures I've produced. Sure, they took a long time to create: but now they're finished, I think it's all been worth it.
I gave the two vixens spacesuits to match their nationalities - red for Blaze (English) and green for Rorschene (Irish). Although I do think that the red turned out the better of the two!
