Here's Space Vixen Rorschene, complete with her 50s-styled spacesuit and ray gun, ready to defend the Earth! (Although defend it from what, I really don't know...)
The two space vixen pictures were a whole lot of fun to draw - even if they were a lot more time-consuming than I thought they'd be. But they're very unusual: the 2D scan doesn't show off the layers too well. And if you put the two pictures side by side, it's apparent that they're a team...
This vixen (along with Space Vixen Blaze) *may* be making an appearance in the artshow at ConFuzzled later this year.
Media info: inks, Copic markers, gel pens, acrylics and oil pastels on Bristol Board, acetate and black card.

What's to say that her tail isn't safely sealed in the spacesuit, and that's a stick-on tail she's just using for display?
But seriously, I am considering opening for commissions like this one - even if they are extremely time-consuming, they are fun to produce. And they look a lot like an animation cel. But then again, they're produced using very similar methods to that.
Truthfully, I'm planning on putting a commission auction into the ConFuzzled artshow, with options to produce a picture like this, or even an A3 picture. Plus it'll be a 50% charity donation piece. So even if the Space Vixens themselves don't appear in the show (for reasons I can't mention yet), that at least will be there!

I tend not to take on too many commissions - at the moment, I'm setting a limit of 4 a year. (The first one has already closed, and the others will be at ConFuzzled and Eurofurence, with the final on FurBuy in November.) That's why I run them as auctions, with incentive tiers for the greater details. Plus at the two conventions, a significant percentage (50%) of the final totals will be given to charity.
And I'll have a large number of new prints at ConFuzzled, too!
