Ho-ly-crap! that is a 50 Cal. barreta sniper rifle right? this is just freakin amazing! the camo is up to date, the perspective was nailed and the choice of weapon, weather 50 Cal or not, is a nice one. awesome work, made this lowly foot soldier's day!

.50 Barret BMG, great for taking down light armor targets.

I've herd many intresting things about the .50 sniper rifle.
My two favorites are one sniper using one round to down two targets and a sniperr hitting a target who spontaniously combusted.

Here's one. A .50 sniper bullet taking out a machine gunner at nearly three miles. Ouch. Nice prospective and the gun looks pretty good for someone who does not really do much realistic machinery. Nice one.

The Barrett M109 .50 caliber rifle holds the distinction of being the only rifle that has cut a man in half from 2 miles away, CONFIRMED.

I've slung a Barret across my shoulder, and believe me, it's not easy...but you get the easy-going feeling of having a bullet that can kill a car at 3000 yards. The Barrett...yeah. it's definitely a "giant penis, and I can kick your ass, what y'all gonna do?" Kind of gun.

That sniper rifle was designated most recently as the M107. Same rifle, just different number than what I saw up top as the M821.
I am lucky enough to fix weapons as my job, so whenever I see these pics, it is an insta-fave.

Personally, I love the ACU camo, it's a real eyefucker. I've got a pair of surplus desert ACU pants myself, my personal favorite pair

I've never worn the desert color ACU pattern, just the digigreen ones most of us Army guys get.

Gotta love the rotations of such deployments. Finally going to be heading out for my first combat patch this year after being stuck in non-deployables for almost 3 years. T.T ACU greys are in now, but I love the aviation version best. Less velcro, more zipper.

Don't like being the guy to tell you this, but there is no DESERT ACU, theres Desert MARPAT which is Marine Pattern Digital. Army only has the light green/tan ACU pattern.

Aside from that the pic is good.

That's not ACU... but it looks like an improvement on it, for much middle eastern terrain. Reminds me of arid CADPAT.

BTW, all is not well with ACU; it seems to be a really bad compromise in any environment. There's an upcoming study of 50 other camo patterns to find a worthy successor to the idea of one pattern to rule them all.

Atcually, the Barrett Model 82A1 is the civilian version; the M-107 Anti Materiel Rifle is the official military designation for the Barrett Model 82A1.

Not too big a fan of the military in general, but as of late, I've gotten a particular dislike for the Army. Specifically the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, who seem perfectly content to display the most ridiculously high forms of animosity towards each other I've ever seen. You'd think they were two separate armies from rival countries.

But I digress, and they're not all that way.

That's not ACU. That's arid MARPAT in use by the US Marine Corps, Not army. ACU has sage green and grey tones. MARPAT is... well, what you drew.
