Part of the reason I'm such an early riser is because of my military training. 5 years of your life disciplining yourself to get up at the crack of dawn does leave its mark on a soul, even 10 years later. Another reason... well, at least when I'm a cub, is I can't tolerate a wet diaper for long. I just want out of it asap. That means waking up Bella, which can be no mean task. Especially if she shut my door the night before and I'm at the younger end of my regressive range. Just reaching the door-knob can be a pain.

It's actually a little uncomfortable for Bella to share a bed with me as a cub. For her. I tend to squirm around a LOT and I can take up a surprising amount of space on a bed. Been known to punch and kick her inadvertently in my sleep. so, it's generally better for both of us that I have my own room as a cub.
