This my first time kayaking a real waterfall back in 2006, my rookie season working on the White Salmon River. I plugged it but rode out clean. These days I've got a much better boof stroke. Lucky! I get paid to do this sometimes, if there's only enough customers to fill one raft then the other guide will get paid to kayak. We fight tooth and nail who gets to do this usually.
