No seriously, this happened to me. I was at Goodwill, with my sister who really was pregnant, and I was helping her look for cloths and crap and I got these hiccups... and they were LOUD and obnoxious.... and some old lady came up to me and said "Awww, I had hiccups too when I was pregnant" And put her cold creepy ice cube fingers all over my stomach... mind you, i was, like, 16 at the time... Scarred me forever.

(I totally understand what you mean. People can't seem to understand a 'life choice' is different from a 'phase'.

I still wonder if and when people will stop wanting to have so many kids and push it on others in the first place. While kids are great and important, cause we can't just stop or we'd go extinct, not everyone wants them, and not everyone should even Have them. If it is just a phase, it's a phase to have too many people in the world, overpopulate, and cause more problems than there already are.

So, kudos to you for standing in what you all believe in and how you want to live. Personally, I'd use that stop sign to hit them if you could, it'd be fun.

I've never fucking wanted children, I've never felt any less like I don't want children, and I don't see myself having any interest in children in the foreseeable future.

The only way I see that changing is if I end up with a girl who really wants them and can convince me a screaming vomit soaked poop factory is a "little miracle".

Not sure if I want kiddos. They seem like a handfull to me.

I HAVE kids and I still one of those ones that feel like it was a moment of temporary insanity (though of course, now that my son is here and a happy toddler I couldn't imagine a world without the little guy. He's my everything). My aunt got it down perfectly. Never have kids, babysit them until they turn into shits, spoil them until they turn into shits, and send them back home to their parents. All of the kids in the family (including me when i was one) have known my aunt's childless spoiling. xD She knows how to do it!

But I really REALLY don't think kids are for everyone. I have one. I couldn't imagine going "Yeah, this is a thing that's for everyone in the world and they should do this."

Hell there are some days when I don't even want to do this shit. xD

Oh of course! I could never really comprehend those people who have children and treat them horrid. As soon as my son was born he was the most precious and important thing to me. Hell even when he does something wrong and I have to punish him, it's so hard. I don't get how you can see this beautiful little thing that's completely a part of you and dependant on you and hate it. It's just like when I meet someone who says they hate animals. I'm always like "How?!"
