As the RL Winter Olympics (in Sochi, Russia) and my own 'sweeps month' (February, 2014) continues, here is my second brand-new "Roly-Polympics: Winter Games" cartoon gag...
This time, we visit an indoor venue for the "Women's Curling" event, where corpulent competitors from foreign lands each try to slide (a total of) eight (30-plus pound) stones down the ice towards a target - controlling the stone's trajectory by having teammates sweep in front of it with some special brooms.
For this cartoon gag, two members of Team Siberia work together to control the path one of the stones heads... by having the fat fox using her wagging tail (as a 'surrogate broom'). The strength of this voluminous vixen's sweeping depends on how close she can get to the T-bone steak - being held up in front of her by a fat bear teammate! (Let's hope they can both watch out for the other stones on the playing field!)
