[The following a character update. New backstory, same character. Lots of Text. You have been warned.]

In a world of cybernetics, magic, mutants, evil corporations, and everything else that could define a cyberpunk universe is where this rubber fox hails from. Shi is a modern day adventurer, taking jobs and searching for treasure shi can sell as loot, and using both a mix of magic and technology to do what shi does best: being a stealthy rogue.

Shi's flexible, a skilled gymnast, and able to use magic to shadowstep around targets finish them off. Technology wise shi uses those advance energy daggers along with a plethora of lock picking and hacking tools along with miniature grenades.

Shi was human before, a female rogue for hire by the corporations to do most jobs they had. A job went south however and shi ended up stranded in the middle of a area crawling with monsters and other nasty critters. Without supplies shi started to trek to the nearest city which was days away, eventually finding a pond of clear water. Now the pond looked clear, but it was filled with leftover bits of magical radiation, and taking a chance shi decided to drink it hoping it wouldn't affect hir.

It of course did and after a few minutes of hir body inside and out becoming rubber, hir bones to dense plastics, and hir blood to a liquid rubber to match hir new mutant biology, shi had a brand new addition between hir legs. Shi continued on and eventually made it to safety in the city.

Shi started over at that point with a new name and new contacts. Being a mutant brings along the stigma of being disliked by most of humanity, but shi ignores it. And while being a rubber fox makes it quite hard to just blend into crowds now and require to get custom made clothing, shi still flourishes as a adventurer-for-hire, plus being immune to offensive magic has its perks.

And someone always needs a well trained rogue for a job.
