me and the kid were watching the old "STUPID" episodes
of "the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" and looking back....
that show is awesome,
it's fucking crazy, it's like someone animated a dream, not bad
not good, but an experience you have to see to believe because
it's so weird.
also,
something I never noticed when I was younger,
I love the backgrounds in that show, it's all splash water paints
almost like they were imitating the pink panther,
and then they went ape shit with it.
this is a very heavily drug induced show,
and I think that's where the fun comes from, if you try and
take it more then that you will hate it, but just for the sake of
experience it is something to behold.
to sum everything up,
here is a little rough of a classic scratch, grounder and robotnik
trying to keep up to the show while still trying to imitate the old
Sonic 2 art style.
hope you guys dig.

Oh, yeah, I love the art style in AoStH! Everything is so angular, sharp, and pointy, like Sonic's spines. Yes, it's full of slapstick comedy, but I enjoy that. Scott Shaw! worked on
the first episode or two (The Sonic Search and Smash Squad), and his art style is unmistakable, setting the direction for the art for the rest of the series.
