Sometimes one finds inspiration for pictures in the strangest place. Awhile back I posted some sketches of Oriental Dragons http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1158879/ well here is the final color piece that I did those studies for.

Now the thing that provided the spark of inspiration for this piece was actually a Hawaiian shirt I saw one day. This guy came into to the store I work with what I first thought was your typical loud gaudy shirt. As I kept staring at him, and the shirt especially, I started to notice that it wasn't a typical leaf pattern Hawaiian shirt. Staring at it even longer I realized that the patterns were actually two oriental dragons playing beach volleyball. That provided the spark for this piece, and yes I asked the guy where he got the shirt and has no idea how to get more in the states since got it overseas. Image size 14"x 22". Medium color pencil with some gouache, marker and micron pen.
