A lot of people on FA seem to consider a gallery sweep at some point, but I find it's more common than not that a few months later (particularly if they were quitting 4 EVAR) that they regret doing so to a moderate degree.
Being given some notice is nice though, but I'd still point out that you keep you gallery fairly clean and shiny. There's always the option to move things to scraps.
