These guys are the Amalj'aa, a race of lizard people in Final Fantasy XIV. Most of the Amalj'aa worship the primal god, Ifrit, and they kidnap people to make them mindless slave to Ifrit, which feeds their god more power. The Amalj'aa use bows, spears, their fists, and fire magic. The creatures are fire based, so they HATE water and don't need water to survive.
There are Amalj'aa who live a warrior tribe lifestyle and do not worship Ifrit at all and they will even fight their own brainwashed kin.
Amalj'aa are top heavy muscular, complete with huge arms and a massive tail. Not this guy in the pic, who is a total fat ass, but that comes with the territory of being a chieftain and of course, he needs food!
