One of those simple truths, that has caused so much effort from those who crave control to bury.
And to the weak-minded, those who think with emotion alone (for that is, after all easiest), eradicating guns seems to make sense. Villanizing anyone who would use a gun (even in self defence) seems to make sense. Making such people easy to manipulate by the 'bleeding heart liberals' out there. Their tactics are effective, because of the prevalence of those who only consider emotion when making decisions, and weighing what is truth.
It is when we take a step back, and think logically, that we see the simple plain truths, such as this one. The very fact that it need be put on a bumper-sticker, and the very reason that you posted it here, just further underlines how much of a minority can honestly think with their HEAD first, and heart second.
