That...is the epitimy of epic awesome ^_^ I lol'd for like a min after seeing this! Ive never tried shading over the marker with the pencils...I will have to try it sometime seeing as your pic turned out looking great!!

Thats awesome, as much as I enjoy pencils I found the grain of the paper to always be frustrating. Never thought of trying markers first.

its great to have a nice solid base to work with before starting with the shading. then you can lighten up the hilighted areas too =)

Ah yeah, prismacolors can actually "paint" over the darker layer beneath if done lightly enough, something I keep forgetting. Come to think of it, my biggest downfall with pencils is that I was never patient enough to apply nice smooth gradual layers, I want the gist of it too soon and color too quickly. But with markers, which need to be applied more quickly, I'd get it roughed out quicker so I can focus more on the detail later. I think you just sold me on going and seeking a small set of markers. ^^

I highly recommend it! Unfortunately prismas are realllly pricey, but definitely worth it. I found a great batch on e-bay for a good price, so you might want to check there. Also, trias are definitely the top of the line if you are able to afford them. I unfortunately can't XD

The Label Clearly defines the substance in the bag as Catnip. If that cat was some of the kids at my school though...let's just say that label would undoubtedly change.
