So I was fed up with work tonight and decided to take a break. It is getting a bit too late now to finish this and work the colours out properly. But knowing me I'll never get around to it again, so I thought I'd upload this for you folks. I also sort of like the sketchiness, but I can accept if I'm on my own there.
I wanted to go for a cinematic feel and put some effort into the lighting, but who am I kidding, the only thing coming to mind with this is "red summer blouse - 19.95"
or alternatively deoderant, chewing gum or fizzy drinks. Any other products this is shouting?
Anyway, that was me for another year ;)
Whoever takes the time to read and view my stuff: You're awesome! You should also probably stick to more active people, but you still rock!

I like this one. The sketchiness matches the sketchiness of the surroundings.... the face and eyes look the most solid things here, maybe reflecting that the mind behind it is in a way the driving thing in this image...
This makes me think of a road trip... not just any... a trip across the Nullarbor Plain here in Aus or Route 66 in the USA or some such... old fuel stations and motels scattered across the sparse countryside... quiet stops where there is no one else but you and the history... plenty of time to lean or sit and just let your thoughts wander... think of the people who are or aren't travelling with you, the people who once called this place home, the timeless landscape surrounding it...
Time to stop waffling.... Now you've prompted me to decide to pack up the old Cruisasaurus and hit the road this weekend...

Nice! I like it! It doesn't look like a WIP art to me at all! I dunno what it might be called...someone called it an expressionist art. I don't know enough about art styles to identify this drawing. But, I like it anyway! Good to see you popping up once in a while.
I understand what you mean by being busy...yeah, so many things that need to be done. But just take good care of yourself, and I'm sure you'll do just fine.
