Valentine's day has always struck me as the weirdest holiday because it excludes way more than it includes. So it becomes a celebration of loneliness more than of love.
Then again all holidays are all about capitalism nowadays so \:3/

That aside I tend to not care either way about this holiday myself but I can understand the sentiment of loneliness even if it doesn't extend to a romantic relationship. Hope you can find someone soon though! <3

I'm perfectly fine without romance, actually. But V-day is a holiday that everyone can do without. It's terribly strange that we celebrate this day, a commemoration to a guy who was beaten to death, beheaded buried and then exhumed by his followers, by giving each other cards and candy.

Only thing nice about all of the commercialized holidays any more is the cheap premium chocolate that gets discounted the day after. Nothing wrong with it but it's in the wrong shaped box, but it's still the good stuff that would be too expensive to bother with most of the time otherwise lest for a special occasion. Who cares about the 'beetus, cuz with my family history it'll happen anyway. Cheap premium chocolate. Lots of it. All I want anymore.
