yeah I heard that.. some were wanting them to open new kennels... I've known a guy who was in a Russian prison and honestly.. if it were killed or a Russian 'temporary' kennel, as a dog I would choose the bullet. i'm glad they didn't try to act nice for the world, sort of, because they would have starved them to death or worse. :/ its a lose - lose kinde scenario for our quadraped friends.. :( last time Russia has the Olympics for decades i'm sure.

Stray dogs regulation was needed a long time ago. These dog was dangerous wild animal without human fear. The sad thing is the way it was done will have only a limited effect in time
