You're correct, hir legs are spread very wide; in order for the deer to have hir leg on the inside of the table. And if you look at all the liquid, there's not a lot, they were on a date and did drink some of it before getting aroused. So if the glass was not full and was turned over from the middle of the table and rolled, then the liquid would rather spill out slowly and drip. Also take into consideration the round edge of the table. If the milkshake is dripping from the first point to the last point of the table top spill, the contents would spread out to different dripping regions. Like the drips on her leg and chair. Then consider, she moved her leg to allow the aroused deer to move her leg further beneath the table. The current drops on her leg from the spilled shake would move back as the object (her leg) moved further out and toward the viewer.
BAH! I was never very happy with the wolfs leg, I tried to make it look spread out originally, but it ended up looking very strange, so I simply contemplated for awhile and decided to render it this way =3 But I can see your point in a 3-d perspective.
