First up for my little Valentine gift series is

I've known Skyshadow for years. I feel like I can pretty safely say that he is one of my oldest friends! He is actually the reason I joined FA and started posting art here. I owe him so much!!

So here is a picture of a pretty wyvern coming in for a landing.

Man they still look a little wonky. Wings are hard! ;; -weeps- I need one of those ball-joint dolls but in the shape of a wing.

I think the sheer size and the capability of them just picking up lots of wind makes it look powerful

I was thinking if you could get a bird, that'd be good enough. I can just see it with little wooden feathers that work like a Japanese fan.

This is great! I love the little swirls on his toes too =O gives it a little more stylized feel to it! Aaaand it's cute xD

Yeah, I wanted to try out using swirlies to add texture. I mean, I imagine wyvern feet would be textured on the bottom to grip better, right? It's like thumbprints.
...but prettier.
