
final version of the sculpt for my stranger animatronic head, I'll be starting the scary process of making a mold for it in the next few days. Apologies for the grainy picture, it's a cropped version of a larger pic taken in poor light, eventually I'll grab some better pics and send this one to scraps.

The dvd set posted in the blog is the basis of my approach, with that you cast the entire sculpt in fibreglass, line the mold with clay where you want the silicone to be, then make a fibreglass underskull in that mold (well, you make an underskull in that mold then make a copy of it with more fibreglass, it's pretty bloody involved tbh). I have a dedicated work space outside the house so I can get away with using fibreglass, if I didn't have a separate garage I probably wouldn't dare
