It took me some time but finally ... nope this time I don't start like that!
---*break*---
Look here: a 3D Print of a Kangaroo - appearently. Yeah I always wanted to do this so I made one of my models printable and uploaded it at shapeways.com . The Kanagaroo was the best choice because the model lookes way the best without the hair.
Biggest trouble I've had with the thin fingers, ears and jaw which forced me to use this extremely precise printing technique. It was not cheap but actually it was worth every cent: the details came out so great - even the teeth where printed.
Since you pay the model per cm³ I made it rather small: its about 5 cm in height width and length (double the size would have cost 6 times the money ^^). Anyway I reaaaally like the outcome.
My next goal is to make a model which fits the requirements for a coloured print - maybe I'll paint this one here too- if I can get a veeeeeery thin brush...
Hope you like it!
Greetings,
~Luno
