I freakin' loved the original, and I freakin' love this, too. <3
The colours are totally unexpected, but they work. The bright colours on my character make him pop a little bit, and Fvorte looks suitably ominous, and breaks up the background colours with his more subtle purples and greys. I'm really liking the contrasts you've used on him, including the shading. I like that little curl you added to my guy's hair, also.
And I'm still waiting on that hug. It's been like four days now???
