Pidove is so adorable, and that expression fits the show off type spot on!

I think the effect is fairly nice, you seem to have got the light source thing quite well...! Something I still have trouble with for some reason, heh.

A twist of a head and a single cutoff line can do quite a lot for an expression XD

My biggest gripe right now when I determine I should shade it realistically (In a lot of cases that basically means shading more than half the body), or if I should do it purely for aesthetic purposes.
I officially chose the latter, but the former still pesters me on occasion. Also I'm sure you'll get the hang of it sooner or later :D

I guess it sorta depends on how you want to stylize it too. I tend to try for aesthetic, but a nice mix of both can really flow well.
I'll keep trying...! Though I've honestly not practiced it in awhile, hah.
