Normally I don't take this many in progress shots but I was jumping up and down all afternoon making two batches of biscotti. So every time I got up I took a shot. It means you can really see how I'm layering up the fur and such. Hope you find it interesting and informative!

First step. Slap on that colour! The colours I'm using for the fur is ultramarine blue, burnt umber and titanium white. I don't want a uniform colour as I think it flattens out the fur looks. So I'm just applying paint with a medium size flat brush and just blocking in the major colour areas.
