Noooo! Watch it with some one who has never seen it. You'll get a whole new perspective on it. Heck, watch it with someone who HAS seen it. I've fallen in love with this series over, and over again each and every time I've shared in it with someone who I haven't seen it with before.
You'll have lots of beloved old memories snuggling up with the new memories <3

I watched through Voyager and TNG when I was with my ex. I really enjoyed introducing it to him and watching it with him all the time, especially the late-night marathons :3 Unfortunately we never got to DS9 or Enterprise. I hope I can find someone else who enjoys or can be "made to enjoy" ( ) trek again.
Star Trek <3
My aunt got me into Trek back in the late 70's. Back then, there really weren't a lot of fans. It was a pretty small but dedicated group of folks that managed to keep the fandom alive during a time when it was one of the ONLY fandoms. She helped the Trimble's http://www.startrek.com/article/bjo.....ar-trek-part-1 with their writing campaign that brought Trek back for a third season, and she's one of the folks who again helped lead fans in a writing campaign that helped convince the studio to make the cartoon. That led to talks of a new series, which eventually got scrapped & ended up becoming the first motion picture.
So...I'm pretty big on Trek, it's been a huge part of my life. I'm always really glad to see folks get into it because I think it's one of the few shows that has had the kind of positive impact on society that it's had. I just want to say thank you for helping keep the Trek love alive <3
