Just a little inked image I made to use as personal reference for Greer. :) It's been hard getting her to look the way I wanted to but I think I'm starting to get there. Watching some Mulan clips last night on youtube helped. :)

Actually, its not as simple as that.
Normally for the V&A / Jack Side-Arc work, I scan at about 300DPI
Then I make a duplicate layer (all in photoshop CS2) run threshold at 128 over it, then set the layer type to 'multiply' and opacity of usually 50% to 70%
Then on the main layer, I adjust the levels until it looks mostly clean, go in with the wand and select anything blue and delete it.
Manually clean up any problem spots, then flatten the image.
