There is something M.C. Escher like about how the gun is drawn.

M.C. Escher?

The bits of the gun does not look to line up properly with each other. The barrel seems to suggest the gun is point slightly forward while the hand suggests the gun is held pointed up or tilled slightly back. The bottom of the grip and top of the gun seems to contradict each other too. The distortion is a bit saddle shape around the weapon.

All in all quite common, just quite noticeable against such a well draw anthropomorphic wolf.

M.C. Escher is a famous artist well know for his impossible constructions depicted in his works. Hands drawing each other, stairs that defy gravity or loop back in on itself. pillars, forks, and elephants with different numbers depending on how you count them.
