This is my winged jackal 'sona Auric, looking skeptically over his shoulder, drawn in pencil by artist Ashe Skyler who does the webcomic Just Another Day, http://jad.raven-wing.net/
This is the first drawing of Auric that shows a back view. It shows the feather pattern on the back of his wings as well as what his headfur/mane looks like. The pattern on his wings is from a long-legged buzzard. Partially due to the emboldening enhancement of the scan, his headfur ended up looking a bit dark in this sketch, it is typically a golden/yellow-brown that is just a bit darker than his body fur (he's a golden jackal, not a black backed jackal).
