Both Tagua nut pendants were hand carved by  foxfeather The small one is my own, purchased MFF 2013 to match the larger version purchased in 2011 at the same convention.

This particular symbol has a much deeper meaning to me and has become a key part of my life. The wolf itself, as a general species, I respect as a hunter. It's a cunning predator, a very family oriented animal. Its because f wolves, my husband and I were led to each other. There had been a wolf to woof exhibit at the local museum we both wanted to attend. Neither of us knew each other but we knew an artist that had gone and posted pictures.  pizzawolf saw them, contacted her, who then forwarded him to me. Eventually we had our first date at a wolf exhibit.

The second half of this symbol is dancing. I didn't really do it before I met him by myself. Now that I have though, I dance everywhere, letting my emotions flow. He becomes my whole world when we dance. We dance slow, we dance erratically without a care to be had, we don't care who is watching.

Together they create a symbol of balance and unity for me. We dance as one. My other half, he strengthens me where I'm weak and with him, I've never felt so alive.
