for some reason.... which I'm assuming is because of the actual structure of the beak / mouth... and the fact that it's got an armor plated shell of sorts... this SORTA reminds me of Tremors movies 1 - 4 .. a mix between the early stage from the 4th movie (before they grew into the 20+ foot subterranean killing monsters).. and what ( from "Tremors the series" ) in that the gene splicing virus called *Mix-Master* might do to cross a YOUNG worm and something reptilian.....

Never seen Tremmors 1 all the way though. It was a mix of Crab, Scorpion, bird (mostly hawk) and lizard. After I made it out the first time, I thought it reminded me of the old Rust Monster from D&D 1st Edition

that bug look like the Hellbugs from DEFIANCE or TEMORS 2.
