Thanks man, was trying to go for a really trippy MC Escher effect of falling into the next life.
I'm thinking of doing a story for a graphic novel for the character falling into the void. The blood on the steps leading to the door but the blood on the inside of the door instead. Flashbacks of guilt of his own misdoings that lead to his own demise. Basically a story of a bad man going to hell and paying many times over for his deeds as he struggles to either escape or survive.
