Incidentally, I read in the news earlier this week that a large cockfighting ring was busted in the NY Tri-State area. Around 3,000 roosters were rescued, if I'm remembering right.
Fighting roosters only belong in fantasy, not real life! :)

Your comic sounds like a good idea! I don't know much about cockfighting at all, only very little general history. I intend to read up and learn more about it at some point, hopefully this year.
