Happy Valentine's Day Everybody! (Okay, so technically I'm a day late, but at least I got the month right this time^^)
This pic was a request from the very lovely
FoxyKittenGirl , my dear friend and partner (Oh, and she's a wonderful artist too btw. you guys should check her out). It features her bunnykatt form, being given a surprise hug from human me. I don't know why, but I've been wanting to draw a self-portrait for a while now--though I must admit that I found drawing non-furry people to be much more difficult than anthro ones (maybe it's the noses?).
In any case, I hope that all of you out there stay healthy, what with the rampant flu that seems to be everywhere. Keep bundled up, and remember to keep those paws good and washed.
Materials and Technical Stuffs
Paper- 8X10 Plain white copy paper
Inking and Linework- 'Sharpie' premier edition art pen
Colors- 'Prismacolor' Colored pencils
--I tried out a new technique where I let the colors from certain segments bleed into each other. It's supposed to make the pic look more fluid, but the idea feels kind of sloppy to me. What do you guys think?

Right?? I don't know why that is, though...
--I suppose maybe it's because with people, you know what's supposed to go where, so it looks wonky if you don't get everything just so.
But wiff anthros, it's anything goes!^^ Every detail is left entirely up to the interpretation of the artist...though I guess goes for people too, technically...
