On the left, the original stock boot logo. And in the center and right, my modifications of said logo. Currently using the center image but could switch to the right image if I got the urge.
Perhaps the thing I love the most is that I found the original font used for the Palm logo (or a very close approximation of it), so the "drake" logos are a match. I even built the alternate image for each of them to create the "glow" effect while the phone is booting. It works exactly like the original logo. The shame of it is that you only see it during boot up.
This has been in place since my Pre Plus. The Pre 2 "posts" with the HP logo instead of the Palm logo, but then flips to the Drake image while booting.
Like I've always said: I can't draw worth a damn, but I'm a wonderful hack-artist.
