I demo'd that one and I totally agree. It was really fun for park riding and was great on rails and packed landings but I wasn't a big fan of the way it handled the steeps and deeps. The proto HD that I've got feels really good on everything so far, it's a little stiffer and the mix of camber and rocker makes it pretty stable but still playful. It's a lot smaller than the turbo dream I've been using on pow days but I need to retire that one because it's a total noodle after being ridden on approximately 200ish days in the last 4-5 seasons, so hopefully this board will still float pretty well compared to that one.
Oh Shit, there it is. Those look like really good paws. Also the head doesn't look so big the goggles appear tiny, which is often the case. Hows the vision? What do the eyes look like? The fur does look close enough to the rubber head you could prob swap it for the better vis. I see a guide stick back there! Although its not bent enough and appears to have a sticker deficiancy. Sick base graphic on the board BTW.
The paws are pretty dope. They're a little small, so I might try and make some that are easier to take on/off, but for now these are pretty sweet. This is the head I made this weekend. I pretty much made it as a use your own eyes kind of head with snowboarding in mind, but I'm going to see if I can figure out a way to make some smallish removable follow me eyes that I can put in it when I'm not snowboarding. The vision isn't quite as good as it used to be but it works pretty well, and it's way better than any other fursuit head I've tried on. I'm pretty sure I'll still be able to shred pretty hard with it. It has excellent breathability too, so I hopefully won't need to take it off as much. When I was shooting that park footage in my old suit, I had to take the head off about twice a run usually just because it didn't breath well. This one should be way better for that at least.
