Ever get any of these whips, rods, bubbles when you don't shoot with flash?

yep, the whips are Ecto Swirls.
the rods are actually proven to be bugs flying really fast while the camera records them.
the bubbles are called spirit orbs.

The orbs are dust and humidity close to the lens caught by flash or other backlighting. I've proven it. Rods are generally bugs but also can be pollen, ragweed, other debris. Whisps are trickier. I've caught some weird stuff at haunted places but I do not regard orbs or rods as being anything remotely conclusive. Whisps - well they are interesting but IMHO too reproducible by conventional means.

Whisps are commonly moisture vapor from the camera operators mouth. While it may not be visible to you when you breathe it out it can be made visible by a) flash exposure, b) CCD that is slightly IR sensitive (all CCDs are), c) Mercury Vapor and other Gas lights at long exposure times or with very high speed film.

Not trying to debunk this image in-particular just discussing stuff.

Jeezus ... this reminds me of the thirty minute conversation I had with a lady one day. She was very annoyed because our repair to her camera prevented its sensitivity to orbs.

I suggested she should gently blow some talcum powder into the air of the room before she took indoor flash photos. A couple weeks later I got a lovely letter of thanks from her -- apparently it worked ...

I likewise put stock in the existance of the spirit realm.
I feel there is sufficient evidence that they exist.

And, while I'm sort of fascinated by it all, I'm also equally creeped out with things like
ghosts. I took some pictures some time back down at a local cemetery around here
in broad daylight... but that was from across the street, not inside the cemetery.

And, no... luckily... nothing turned up on cam. (Also, I wasn't trying to intentionally go
there for the purpose of capture any orbs in any digital pics... I've used pics of rl local
locations as background in my art pieces at times).

omg! thank you for this site! I was skeptical at first, so I downloaded some of the mp3's and converted them to wav files and then opened them up in sound recorder, played them in reverse, and sure enough it works!

Yup-yup! *Nods* See, many (Including myself at one time) have believed that all that reverse speech stuff was stuff that was always intentionally done in hard rock songs only.

But, there is intentional reverse speech like that (Which is actually called "Back masking" when It's done intentionally, not reverse speech), and then there's regular, actual reverse speech.

Seems that for any of us... every now and then, there is the occasional thing in the way of true reverse speech that slips into our everyday daily verbal dialogue with have with others.

Oh, and also, the open source audio editor Audacity (Which is a free download) allows audio files to be reversed and played back.

Some of the stuff from "W" himself (George Bush) kind of creeped me out for that stuff on reverse speech, since it paints a deeper picture of what could really be going on.

For example...

What this seems to indicate is that our true selves come out in reverse speech even when we're trying to cover that up. It's the subconscious mind at work, telling the truth without us realizing it, It would seem.

careful, it hasn't happened yet to you yet, but if you keep doing that, you may upset some spirits. My friend has proof from scratches on her arms. She had tripped on an old grave stone and chipped off a piece of it. Her arm never came in contact with anything at all, not the ground nor the stone. She got up, walked a little bit, then she felt a pain on her arm. She shined her flashlight on it and there were fresh scratch marks bleeding on her forearm going straight up and down.

And don't worry I always treat grave yards with the uthmost respect, and give a toast in their honor when I'm having a drink. It is after all a necropolis a city of the dead.
