Haha, no worries. :) I didn't and don't expect it to appeal to everyone, so it's no problem. I think to me, Red's life revolves around the study of Planet Life (which you will be familiar with if you've played FFVII), and he spends most of his years travelling the planet to learn more about it and his place in it. So with this commission I wanted to take a look at what the end of that journey might be, and to kind of frame the resolution of his life within the quiet beauty and grandeur of the world. The sadness is definitely there, but it's not so much an end as it is just a return to the planet to begin anew.















...I'll get happier commissions in the future. ;)
