What do you use to color or paint your ponies

Watercolor! :) And sometimes extra shading is added with colored pencil.

oh ok, do you have like a specific type of watercolor that you use because the color used in this are so pretty

I actually have a crapton of different brands haha. Some cheap/student grade and some higher quality/artists grade. Everyone I know kinda knows that I love watercolor, so I get showered with art supplies haha. Ive tried them all, and they all kinda have pretty good color, even the cheap ones. I havent used any watercolor that didnt have nice color to it. But the cheaper ones tend to be a bit a chalky, thats it!

My favs:

Artists loft (chalky/cheap but vibrant colors, Micheals sells these)
Winsor and Newton (Good stuff man)

XD I would bid the hell out of it on eBay but I just got back from a con and my funds are short and FUCK IT I might dip into my savings to try to get this in a frantic bid war, ahahaha. Aww Im happy that you like it so much ;w; Unfortunately I don't do reproductions of my auctions though, its not fair to the person who won the auction.

At one point I was going to get prints of future paintings made, but its turning out to be more trouble than its worth for me right now to get prints of traditional pieces. So once all of the prints for "Rarity's Bath" are gone that will be it for a while sadly >_<

I did get one test print for this one done though, and still have it if you like that one :)

Hm, what can I say about this one... Well, let me begin by saying something not really relevant to the drawing: Scootaloo is my least favorite CMC. There.
I noticed a few specks/drops in her hair. What exactly is that? Are they... paint drips?
I think you did great work on the little wings. It makes Scootaloo cute (in as much Scootaloo can be cute)
However, for some reason, she looks a bit... bulky? Can't exactly pinpoint why it looks this way, so I'm afraid this point is a bit useless...
Her head does look to be a tad on the small side. Just a tad. If it were just the tiniest smidge bigger, it'd probably increase the adorableness, and it might take away from the 'bulkiness'.
Uhm... I wish I had more to say, but my commentator's juice is probably running out again!

Aw, poor Scoots! I used to like Applebloom the least, but now I like her as much as Sweetie and Scoots. I like them all about the same now. And yeah, the drips in her hair are some white paint dots.

As for the bulkiness that was intentional, I was just trying something new with how I draw the bodies! :3

Ah, I didn't know that. Yes, the 'bulkiness' is definitely not bad... just different.

Yeah, after seeing episode 5(I think it was 5) of season 4(Im behind..haha) I felt compelled to draw Scoots!
