This is from 2012... I think it's on my old account but I want to post it here because this place meant so much to me.

When I was in an abusive relationship I found this place near where the deer bed close to where we lived. I felt at peace there, it was safe to me, quiet and green even if it was surrounded in dead trees, it still had so much life. I felt free there, no one would hit me or yell at me in this spot.
