So this is my main computer. I have some LEDs mounted to the back of the main monitor that change colors with sound, fade, or stay a solid color. Both of the monitors are connected to the computer so I can make my cursor go from one screen to the other. My computer has an nvidia GTX 465, 12gb ram, a 120gb SSD, a 160gb HDD, two 1tb HDDs, an intel core i7 overclocked to 4ghz, water cooling on the CPU, and an 850w PSU all packed into an Antec lanboy air. I've been upgrading it slowly over time and I think the number of HDDs shows that. Tell me what you think!

I got 850W because I wanted to be able to expand as I need to. So far that PSU hasn't caused me any issues and that's all that matters to me. It's an NZXT HALE series 82 if I remember correctly. The lights are only reactive to sound in the room so they don't pulse to my music unless I'm playing through the speakers.
That's a nice setup! Much much better than mine. I even see a PS3 in there too. ^_^ All I have is an average, low spec HP laptop on a small rolly table. XD My sound system is a pair of Shure SRH440 Pro Studio Monitor headphones :p and I have a PS2 & PS3 connected to an 8 year old CRT HDTV O_O.
Yep, that's my PS3 sitting on its kinex stand I made a while ago to save space and make it cool better. My sound systems are the speakers in the TV or the green razer orcas that you can see on the left monitor. I love them sooo much! I often forget I'm wearing them and stand up to find the cable holding my head down. I also have a stereo that I can easily hook up to it when I feel like making some loud sounds, but I usually keep that in another room. If my video card supported it, I would even add my 3rd monitor on the right and put my PS3 sideways against the wall, but I can only do 2 screens on the GTX 465. I am never going back to a single monitor setup either. I can do my homework faster when I can have the research in one monitor and the page I'm working on in the other. I wish I could get 3 more monitors like my center one and a new GPU so I could do a "surround vision" type setup. lol it would be very difficult to find a wallpaper for something like that.
I'm pretty much the same with my headphones but my cord is so long, that I wouldn't have the problem of my head being held down. I'm not much of a speakers person, I prefer being able to listen as loud as I want without disturbing others. Plus after hearing the fullness and clarity that my headphones provide, I now use them on everything. I can tell how much easier it is having multiple monitors being able to see more things at once. Having 3 monitors would be even more awesome but that's the beauty of desktops, being able to upgrade everything on it. Including the graphics card.
Everything on my laptop is too weak for me but it was a gift from my parents and at the time I didn't have any computer at all. It was my graduation gift when I graduated high school in '09. I even knew they were getting me a computer and I even asked if I can just get the money to build one instead because they don't know anything about computers. Next thing you know, they just hand me a laptop they got from Rent-a-Center because in their words "It's the biggest one they had and the guy told us that HP is the best brand" They spent a little over $1,000 for a laptop that was actually $600. *faceplams* Despite that, it's already 5 years old and other than needing a new battery, it still works perfectly.

I'm addicted to headphones and multi display desktops. They're basically the best things a desktop could have in my opinion. At school I keep trying to move my browsing pages into my neighbor's screen without thinking about it. When I built my desktop I had to convince my parents that it was a learning experience and they happily helped pay for it. At first it had about $1000 put into it and had one of the worst monitors ever. It was one of those square shaped screens and was only about 18" wide. Now I have about $2000 invested in this setup and the systems keeping it running. As soon as I get hold of an old car battery or two I'm going to get the 1500w UPS running again. I also have a 350w UPS that could power my displays for a while, but the battery went bad in that too.
Yep, it's a RAT 7. it spoils me and now I hate the school computers even more because they're on such a strict budget that they can't even afford to clean off the keyboards every once in a while. Seriously, there is a grey goo that's forming on the keyboards from everybody using them. It's no wonder why I always get sick a few days after going in there.
EEWW. Ew. Ew.
I just have this simple lil Logitech mouse that came with the desktop just like this free gift thing but I haven't started working yet & haven't gotten the chance to buy a new mouse. It's big, clunky, sturdy, and works. *shrug*
I also miss my dual monitor display T.T
Do you ever get dual monitor wallpapers? :D
