the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi sedan USDM.
this US model of the Impreza may be viewed as a high end street racer here in the US, but in North Nord Territory where Rey Roo lives, these cars are viewed as much more than that.
along with being used as a normal everyday car in such, the car truly shines as a police pursuit vehicle and taxi.
while the Impreza WRXs are primary for most Taxi cab services in Sandersville, Rey Roo's hometown, the city's police force is who really brings out the shine when they go into pursuit mode and give chase with these cars.
despite the B$400,000 ($40,000 USD) it cost to get one, most police pursuit departments normally have 10 - 20 Impreza STis on the force. the paint job on the cars is not dark blue to black like this one here is, they are colored red backgrounds with yellow lettering and yellow backgrounds with red warning strips on their front and rear bumpers.
they have a top speed of 200mph with 340hp engines in all STis on the force.
Note: as of Jan 9, 2013 98% of all pursuit police cars in Sandersville are manual. (they are working on getting rid of the remaining 2% autos).
