This idea came after lengthy discussion with a close friend about various things, including anthro characters and the realm of big and small, in which I discovered we share several interests.. hence part of the inspiration for my placement in this drawing. Also, given her short-ish height in real-life, it's ironic to have myself, a 6'3" fellow, tucked away in her flip-flop :)
"A pleasant evening for reading, warm mid-afternoon rays of sun shining through the glass panes, with the distant sound of friendly dispute outside the window (albeit one-sided with the fellow on the right having the power of shadow-fire), and a soft bundle of warm fuzziness gently tickling against her heel..."
This.. took.. so.. freakin'.. long x.x In total, several days-worth of hours, certainly 40+. I lost count, not that I kept count in the first place. I'm really glad to finally have finished it! Started with a Blender reference in 3D, but I entirely scrapped that idea for this one. Some reference photos were used, notably for her shirt and flip-flops. If you have questions on how I did something, feel free to look at the Inkscape vector source file below, and if that doesn't help, leave a comment and I'll try to explain.
rawrkat - relatively-short purple cat-fox (named 'Black Hole'), birthday fellow and amazing friend
digitalf0x - highly-advanced AI-fox (me), geeky fellow typing away under the shadow of Black's heel
Fastly fleeing otter - white and ice-blue fellow, my roommate and sarcastic friend
Flame-wraithed wolf - gray-furred fire-ninja, also a close friend and not one to trifle with
Looming GadaSun - One of many forms taken by Gadabout, visitor of BigFurs; his ever-present face of :I remains difficult to escape
I'd like to point out the many folks who have helped me with this drawing, providing encouragement and suggesting what I could improve.
Folks I know face-to-face, my family, 'specially Mom, and the first three friends mentioned under characters, rawrkat, sarcastic-otter, and ninja-wolf.
As for the online community, alphabetical: beherit, freder, Gadabout, incongruency, lennox, and.. probably others I'm forgetting! >.<

You and freder still surprise me with how fast you notice I've posted art. One of these days, I'll have a comment before it's even posted xD
As said before, thanks for the feedback and encouragement! And more will come, once I recover with some regular, quick doodlin' after the hours going into this one~
