In retaliation for the sketch Captain Furry drew of the inflated bobcat (in a belated birthday card) - which I'd recently posted under the title "Scooby-Doodle" - I now returned the gesture by having the lion filled with air (in a birthday card I'd sent to him last week).
The storebought card itself (not included here) featured a puffer fish blowing out the candle on its birthday cake. (Don't ask me how the candle managed to stay lit under water!) I'd added a rubber stamped image of a smaller puffer fish to this (touched-up) handdrawn sketch of the large lion and his rascaly rival... Enjoy!
