Back at MFF 2013, I decided that I really needed more art of Zelse in his alternate color palettes. As I mentioned in my journal about his background, he does have a chameleon heritage, though it's far from perfect. Exposure to certain conditions and colors over a long period of time (typically several days) will cause his colors to shift. Hence, normal clothing has too many colors or patterns for his scales to emulate, plus he'd change them faster than his scales could adapt. However, watery and sandy environments typically have his scales exposed to similar colors and conditions for long enough to shift.
So here is Zelse in his aquatic coloration, done by the awesome
boneitis. Be on the lookout for this badge at MCFC and AC!
